This piano has the same specification as the K2 but is slightly taller. This produces a louder and fuller sound which is ideal for a larger room. The K3 is available in Black, Mahogany, Walnut Polish and White.

To make the action resistant to climatic and seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, Kawai pioneered the use of aluminium action rails and hammer rest rails, and we construct certain highly stressed action parts from friction-reducing, high-impact ABS Styran.
